Some yarns start with a color palette. This one started with a very old internet joke and years of giving your friends a hard time.
Inspired by the infamous old-school LARPing video of a wizard enthusiastically hurling spells while yelling “Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt!”, this colorway is a little love letter to the friendship behind Cozy Chaos. With James involved in the SCA, the reference has naturally been used against him more than once.
The yarn itself brings the joke full circle: Gerard meets Clover. Deep, smoky blacks and greys collide with fiery orange before getting interrupted by a completely unapologetic flash of hot pink—James and Tanya in yarn form, essentially.
Part of our Legend & Lore Collection, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt! is hand-dyed in small batches right here at Cozy Chaos Craft Co. Because each skein is dyed by hand, color placement and patterning will vary slightly from skein to skein.

Most orders ship from our Coos Bay studio in 3–5 business days. Print-on-demand items ship directly from our production partners and may arrive separately. Free U.S. shipping on orders $75+; standard rates apply below that. Local pickup is available for in-studio items.
Once shipped, carriers handle delivery. We’re not responsible for lost or stolen packages, but we’ll help track issues when possible. If your order arrives damaged, email hello@cozychaoscraftco.com within 7 days.
Because our items are created in small batches (and some are made-to-order), we do not offer refunds. We offer store credit or exchanges within 30 days for unused, unopened items in original condition.
