Nestled in the heart of Coos Bay, Oregon, Cozy Chaos is more than a shop—it’s a gathering place for makers. Our studio shelves are lined with small-batch yarns, hand-dyed fibers, and thoughtfully chosen tools meant to inspire creativity. Every skein, roving, and kit reflects our belief in quality, sustainability, and the quiet joy of working with your hands.

What We Offer

We curate materials and experiences that help makers of all levels feel at home in the creative process. In our shop and online, you’ll find artisan yarns, wool roving, craft kits, and cozy giftables alongside classes in spinning, crochet, natural dyeing, and small business growth for creatives. Whether you’re learning something new or simply restocking your stash, Cozy Chaos offers an invitation to slow down, make something beautiful, and connect with others who love to do the same.

We believe handmade matters—because the act of making builds connection, confidence, and care. Every class we teach, every product we pack, and every story we share begins with the same intention: to create space for creativity to thrive. Cozy Chaos is about embracing imperfection, finding inspiration in the process, and celebrating the threads—literal and figurative—that bind us all together.

Meet the Owners

Cozy Chaos Craft Co is the shared dream of four friends who believe creativity thrives when it’s surrounded by laughter, yarn, and good coffee. Partners Maat Pittman, Tanya Rasley, James Kelley, and Clay Rasley each bring their own strengths—fiber arts, craftsmanship, business know-how, and design—to build a space where makers feel at home.

Maat Pittman

Maat is our shop manager and the creative force behind many of our classes. He works across every corner of fiber arts—spinning, weaving, felting, and more—and brings a calm, grounding energy to the space. He’s here to teach, support, and help shape Cozy Chaos into a true maker haven.

Tanya Rasley

Tanya built and ran Canard Labs before shifting into helping other small businesses grow. At Cozy Chaos, she’s the behind-the-scenes strategist—turning ideas into systems, shaping the vision, and helping future creatives turn their dreams into real businesses. She blends experience, intention, and creative grit into everything the shop becomes.

James Kelley

James is our color expert—specializing in natural dyes, speckled dyeing, and anything that brings wool to life. He’ll be teaching classes, experimenting in the dye pots, and working in the shop. His eye for color and gentle approach make him a huge part of the creative soul of Cozy Chaos.

Clay Rasley

Clay is our go-to problem solver and the person who can fix, build, or improve just about anything. A longtime sounding board (including back in the Canard Labs days), he’s the shop’s handyman, teacher’s helper, and all-around steady presence. He brings skill, practicality, and a ton of heart to the team.
