This class is all about learning how to actually mix paint on purpose. No mystery, no accidental mud (well… less of it). You’ll get a clear, usable understanding of value, tone, and how to build colors that feel right—not just close enough.
Taught by Erick of Aloof Arts, you’ll also get into what makes a painting last (the real meaning of “archival”) and a breakdown of the oils and mediums you’ll see again and again—what they do, how they behave, and when to use them.
By the end, you’ll be able to take a limited palette and mix your way to just about anything you’re trying to create.

How long are classes?

Cozy, welcoming, and relaxed. We believe learning should feel supportive, not stressful.
Is there an age requirement?
Our classes are intended for adults (18+). Teens are welcome to attend when registered and accompanied by an adult.
What is your cancellation policy?
Due to limited space and advance material prep, class fees are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, please contact us — we’re happy to help when possible.
What if a class is cancelled by Cozy Chaos Craft Co.?
In the rare event we need to cancel a class, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer your registration to a future class.
