Wild Black is harvested from old growth tea trees — actual trees, not the shrubby bushes most commercial tea comes from — at a small farmers’ cooperative in Ha Giang, Northern Vietnam. That distinction matters. Older trees mean deeper roots, more complex flavor, and leaves that have been doing their thing for a long time without anyone rushing them.
The result is a hearty, full-bodied black tea with a dry, robust palate and a hibiscus-woody aroma that earns the “high caffeine” label honestly. Excellent as a breakfast tea. Holds up beautifully with milk or a non-dairy alternative and a little turbinado sugar, but perfectly good on its own if you’re the type.
Long, whole leaves in biodegradable pyramid sachets — no quality compromise, no plastic mesh, no guilt. The sachets are plant-based and compostable at industrial facilities.

Most orders ship from our Coos Bay studio in 3–5 business days. Print-on-demand items ship directly from our production partners and may arrive separately. Free U.S. shipping on orders $75+; standard rates apply below that. Local pickup is available for in-studio items.
Once shipped, carriers handle delivery. We’re not responsible for lost or stolen packages, but we’ll help track issues when possible. If your order arrives damaged, email hello@cozychaoscraftco.com within 7 days.
Because our items are created in small batches (and some are made-to-order), we do not offer refunds. We offer store credit or exchanges within 30 days for unused, unopened items in original condition.
